Back in school a new Semester
September 2009 its a new school year two of our members are finally getting into the groove of our career as students. Sakile begins her year 8 and Talibah begins her year 7 of Middle School.
Current Projects include drafting comics in the American style and drawings in the Japanese manga style. The studio spent a lot of time attending art workshops, freely drawing with other artists and networking with other comic artists at the anime festival at the Javits Center in September. There were the events at Kinokuniya where there were plenty of performance art and interesting things to draw and write about.
Creators day
On Sunday July 12,2009, my team and I visited the Kinokuniya book store in Manhattan, New York for Creators Day. While there we saw Misako Rocks! . When Misako finished her presentation, I showed her my art that I've done. She loved it! She even showed her producer. Misako was also impressed with the magazine.
